Service Description

This appointment is for two piercings with our apprentice piercer, Glenn. These piercings can be one on each ear or both on one ear. These piercings are performed under the guidance and supervision of a senior piercer & mentor (Cindy), who will be both passively and actively involved in some aspects of the appointment process. Due to the limited experience level of an apprentice piercer, the piercing fee is discounted to half-price as a courtesy to our clients who are willing to take part in this learning process. Jewelry purchase is separate and required at the time of the appointment; discounts do not apply to jewelry purchases. All standard studio policies, booking agreements, and cancellation policies apply. PLEASE NOTE: At this time, we are offering these Apprentice Piercing Appointments for standard TRAGUS, ROOK, FORWARD HELIX, DAITH, EYEBROW, NIPPLE, and NAVEL piercings only; if you book for another piercing not currently offered by our apprentice, you will need to pay the rebooking fee and will be rescheduled to our next availability with a senior piercer. Criteria for clients booking this appointment type currently: *Client must be at least 18 years of age. *Client must be receiving a total of two piercings from the following list: TRAGUS, ROOK, FORWARD HELIX, DAITH, EYEBROW, NIPPLE, and NAVEL piercings only. *Client must attend the piercing appointment alone; no guests can be accommodated. *Client must understand that while the apprentice will be supervised and guided by a senior piercer, the apprentice's hands-on experience is limited, and the senior piercer may step in and take over at any time during the appointment. *Client must understand that this appointment may take more time than usual, as there will be explanations, examples, and learning occurring. *Clients must understand that if they are unhappy with the outcome of their piercing, they will have the opportunity to be repierced free-of-charge by the apprentice at a future date OR be repierced by a senior piercer for the standard piercing fee minus the reduced fee already paid.

Cancellation Policy

Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy: Booking your appointment requires a non-refundable deposit. The deposit is your full service fee. Jewelry cost is in addition to service fee and is chosen and paid for in-studio at the time of your appointment; jewelry purchase is required for piercings and installs unless we are re-installing jewelry previously purchased from Sadu (please see terms for qualifying jewelry on our website). If you are unsure about the total fee or jewelry minimum for the service you'd like to book, please inquire prior to booking online. All jewelry purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If you are unsure about the age requirement for the piercing you would like, please check out our FAQ or send us a message to inquire BEFORE booking. Deposit refunds will NOT be given for failure to meet the age requirement of the piercing you request—you will have the option of choosing another age-appropriate piercing at that time, rescheduling for a $10 rebooking fee, or receiving a partial refund minus the $10 cancellation fee. Please note that ID is required, even for minors! Please see the FAQ section of our website for minor & adult ID requirements. Failure to bring proper ID will result in your appointment being rescheduled for a $10 rebooking fee or a loss of deposit minus the cancellation fee. ​ We strongly suggest booking a consultation prior to anatomy-dependent piercings (please note that some piercings REQUIRE a consultation). If you choose to not book a consultation prior to your piercing and are found to be ineligible for the piercing you choose (due to anatomy, scarring, etc), you have the following options: choose another piercing at that time, rebook for a future date for a $10 rebooking fee, or receive a deposit refund minus a $10 cancellation fee. Genital piercings REQUIRE a consultation prior to booking a piercing appointment; please see all guidelines & appointment terms pertaining to genital piercings on our website. Failure to book your genital piercing appointment with the correct staff member will result in a $10 rebooking fee for a rescheduled appointment with the appropriate piercer. Same-day piercing appointments following consultations are subject to availability and are not implied or guaranteed. To reschedule an existing appointment, visit the Contact Us page of our website. Deposits may be transferred one time to another date for no charge if requested with a minimum 24-hours notice. Rescheduling with less than 24-hours notice requires a $10 rebooking fee for piercing services. Rescheduling a non-piercing service with less than 24 hours notice results in loss of initial deposit; you will need to book a new appointment and pay the associated deposit. Full deposits are non-refundable; no exceptions. Deposits are forfeited in their entirety if you don't show up for your appointment. Clients who are more than 10-minutes late to their piercing appointment will be offered the one-time courtesy of rescheduling and having their deposit moved to a different date for a $10 rebooking fee. Due to time constraints, clients who are 10 minutes late to any other appointment type will forfeit their deposit and need to reschedule with another deposit. By booking your appointment, you agree that you have read and will follow our “Studio Policies” listed on our website. Failure to adhere to these policies will result in your appointment being rescheduled with the aforementioned rebooking fee or cancelled. While we strive to keep things flowing smoothly and see each client promptly, due to the nature of our services, delays can happen--but we will always strive to keep your wait to a minimum.
